The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) is the Army’s national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families, in times of need.

The Senior Events Manager is responsible for delivering our flagship outdoor event The Cateran Yomp. With ambitious recruitment and fundraising targets and exciting partnerships in development this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. Responsible for all participant facing communications, a track record in supporter journeys, marketing and copy writing is key. Internal and external relationship management is also a central aspect of the day-to-day role working with suppliers, contractors, and volunteers.

The salary is £42,000 per annum. There will also be opportunities to participate in key Charity events and activities with a TOIL scheme in place.

This is a full-time post for 35 hours per week, with the ideal candidate starting early November 2023 until the end of June 2024 based at the Charity’s National Office in Victoria, London (The Charity currently operates a minimum of 2 days in the office).
