The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) is the Army’s national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families, in times of need.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fundraising, Individual Giving and Philanthropy, you will coordinate and be responsible for delivering the Individual Giving programme using Direct Marketing techniques across a range of channels, maintaining a consistency of tone and message across all communications. To meet an agreed level of income from cash appeals, regular giving and online you will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and committed to hitting deadlines.

You will project manage a portfolio of Direct Marketing campaigns, including direct mail, Face to Face, gaming products, digital and social media activity, press inserts and advertising. In doing so, you will manage agency relationships, expenditure and income tracking and delivery, reporting across a range of KPIs, briefing suppliers, overseeing regular data selections, exports and imports, copywriting and managing the creative processes.

You will also line manage Individual Giving & Supporter Care Assistant and to provide cover for all elements of their work including handling queries from supporters by phone, email and post, financial processing and updating Raisers Edge database.
